New PC

I built a new PC. Well, technically I just upgraded my dad’s PC, but seeing as I replaced pretty much everything, it’s almost new.
Here are the specs:
Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10Ghz. 2 Cores, plus 2 more hyper-thread cores.
XFX Radeon HD 6570 (Not the best, but it does the job. Can play most games on extra high quality, the rest can play on high.)
NZXT Sleeved LEDs (Blue. They’re freaking awesome!)

I got all my games on this new PC already. TF2, Black Ops, AC: Revelations, Gmod and Half Life 2. And also GTA:SA, but that’s not that special.

WordPress…for iPad?

Just found the WordPress app for iPad, but there’s one major flaw: for me links come up as HTML code, instead o links. Same goes for bold text and any fancy editing. Hope this bug is fixed. Not sure if other users experience it…

Modern Warfare 3 came out two months ago. I know it’s already January, Happy New Year!, But I still think the latest Call of Duty deserves its own special post.

Nikolai, Price and a badly wounded Soap are back from the cliff-hanger ending in Modern Warfare 2. After they patch Soap up we’re back in action. A new Russian character, Yuri, joins the now “Disavowed”  Task Force 141.

Frost, along with  Sandman and others are also new characters, introduced as members of Delta Force, battling the seemingly infinitely spawning waves of Russian enemies.

Modern Warfare 3 takes you around the globe, battling WW3 caused by Vladmir Makarov. I will not reveal what happens on your journey to prevent the world from tearing apart, but I can tell you that you can buy Modern Warfare 3 for a reasonable amount of money, so why don’t you buy it, or borrow it from a friend, and find out what happens?

How to download & install Call of Duty 4: MW cracked

Ok. I have read numerous articles and watched countless videos but either the guide had unnecessary steps or it was missing instructions, so I have compiled together a FOOLPROOF guide on: How to download and install Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare + how to play online.

I KNOW TORRENTS ARE SLOW: THIS GUIDE WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO SPEED THEM UP

If you already have Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and you are just looking for instructions on how to play online, skip ahead to Part 2.

ABBREVIATIONS AND EXPLANATIONS:
Anything in quotes, ex. “1000000” are not actually in quotes, so don’t type them with quotes!
Extensions e.g: .exe or .iso may not be visible on your computer. This doesn’t matter.
It is recommended that you back up any files about to be replaced by copying it to somewhere else first.

PART 1: DOWNLOADING CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE TORRENT + uTORRENT

1. Download uTorrent (A Torrent Downloading Program):
   http://www.utorrent.com/
2. Install uTorrent by opening the file you downloaded [(uTorrent.exe) or (uTorrent)]
3. Download the CoD4:MW Torrent:
   http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/91583437/?tab=summary
   It should be called: Call of duty 4 [PC-DVD] [English] [www.topetorrent.com]

PART 1.1: CONFIGURING uTORRENT FOR FASTEST DOWNLOAD SPEED

Torrents are famous for being slow, that’s why I’m teaching you how to configure uTorrent so you get the best speeds, and trust me: After this uTorrent will perform quite decently.

1. Start uTorrent.
2. Go to “Options” then “Preferences” (Control + P)
3. Go to “Bandwidth” found on the left of the window.
4. Set the Maximum upload rate to “1”
5. Set the Maximum download rate to either “0” or a really large number ex. “1000000”. See which one works better for you.
6. Set the Global maximum number of connections to “900”
7. Set the Maximum number of connected peers per torrent to “100”
   That should do the trick. If not, feel free to Google more tweaks for uTorrent.
   PART 1.2: DOWNLOADING CoD4:MW

Downloading Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

1. Open uTorrent.
2. Click “File” then “Add Torrent” (Control + O)
3. Open the Torrent you downloaded:
   Call of duty 4 [PC-DVD] [English] [www.topetorrent.com]
4. Select a location for the torrent to be downloaded.
5. Wait for the download to finish. This should a few hours. (It took 6 hours for me).

PART 1.3: INSTALLING CoD4:MW + DAEMON TOOLS

1. Download Daemon Tools Lite:
   http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/products/dtLite
   Download the Free one (unless you want to buy it).
2. Install Daemon Tools by opening the file you just downloaded.
3. Run Daemon Tools. A thunder-like icon should appear on your taskbar on the right.
4. Right click the Daemon Tools icon. Select “Virtual Devices”. If no virtual device exists then click “Add SCSI Virtual Device”. You should then get something similar to:
   ’Device 0: [E:] No Media’ (The letter will vary )
5. Click the virtual device and select “Mount Image”
6. Go to the folder where you downloaded the CoD4:MW Torrent and mount the image:
   Call of duty 4 [PC-DVD] [English] [www.topetorrent.com].iso (It is a disc image file)
7. If an Autorun window pops up then proceed and install Call of Duty. If not, then go to “My Computer”, open the “BD-ROM Drive” and run “Setup.exe”
8. Follow the prompts and install CoD4:MW as you would with any other program.
9. IMPORTANT: When the installer asks for the Keycode/CD Key, Go to the folder where you downloaded CoD4:MW, go to the folder named “Crack” and open “rzr-cod4.exe”. This step is essential, so even if your firewall/antivirus blocks it you still have to find a way to open it. Generate a CD Key and put it EXACTLY into the setup. The setup should accept it as a valid key. If not, generate another key and try it again. Write down your CD KEY! DO NOT LOSE IT!
10. Proceed with the installation. Install DirectX and PunkBuster too.
11. YOU HAVE NOW INSTALLED CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE.

PART 2.0: DOWLOADING PATCHES AND CRACK

1. Download the following patches:
   http://www.gamershell.com/download_27186.shtml
   http://www.gamershell.com/download_28304.shtml
2. Download the following crack:
   http://www.gameburnworld.com/dl/dl.php?file=CallOfDuty4ModernWarfarev1.7NoDVDFixedexeEng.rar
3. To download the above 3 files simply choose a mirror to download from.
4. Download WinRaR:
   http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
   Choose this one: WinRAR x86 (32 bit) 4.01
5. Install WinRaR, following the prompts.
6. Extract the 3 files you downloaded before (2 patches and the crack) by right clicking on them and selecting “Extract Here”
7. Install “CoD4MW-1.6-PatchSetup.exe”
8. Install “CoD4MW-1.6-1.7-PatchSetup.exe”
9. Copy the crack “iw3sp.exe” that you just downloaded and extracted. Go to where you installed call of duty. (most likely C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare) and paste the “iw3sp.exe” file, replacing the current one.

NPC Villages, Endermen, Iron Bars, Sprint Jumps…

MINECRAFT 1.8 IS OUT! There are much more new features like NPC Villages, prebuilt houses, abandoned mineshafts and new mobs!

Endermen can pick up blocks and place them. They remain calm until you look at them. Then they will hunt you down ‘till either of you die. There are also blue spiders who live in mineshafts and poison you!

There are new blocks too, like watermelon, stone bricks, iron bars etc. The best part is the XP bars and food system. You get hungry, and you need to eat every now and then. Eating has a new animation, where you spray crumbs everywhere! What a mess!

If you have full food though (it’s called the hunger bar/meter) then you won’t die from attacks, so as long as you have a full food bar you can only be reduced down to half a heart. I think creepers can still kill you though…

The 1.8 release date was supposed to be today, but it got postponed. Luckily Jeb, a developer, leaked out a Pre-Release Minecraft 1.8! It was meant to be a public bug test for the Adventure Update but I am definitely not using it for bug testing! Tommy, one of my friends, set up a new server with a brand new 1.8 generated map for us to play on.

Guess what? One of the bugs in 1.8 is a block duplication bug. You simply place any item or block in a crafting table, quickly press “E” twice, and you’ll see the item you put on the crafting table in your inventory. Move the item to another inventory slot and another one of the items will appear! This new item is infinite. If you used an ore, you can use it to make LOTS of bricks!

OH! I NEARLY FORGOT!
Here’s how to get Minecraft 1.8 Pre-release:

1. Download this file:

2. Press (Start) + R to access the “Run” dialogue. Then type %appdata%

3. Go to .minecraft (it’s up the top somewhere) and go to the Bin folder.

4. Now replace minecraft.jar in the Bin folder with the 1.8 one you downloaded.

5. Run Minecraft (Proper or cracked) and your done!
